Jamar Cobb-Dennard is a sales recruiter at Hire Sales – a sales recruiting firm that helps companies find the right salesperson fast. Cobb-Dennard is a sales, networking, and recruiting expert, and moved to Indianapolis with the dream of becoming a professional speaker and business coach.
He is one of the top 200 people in the history of Cutco Cutlery to ever sell a knife. In 2002, Jamar built a team of 70 sales people in 4 months, later recruited 8-30 new sales people a week as a hiring manager, and is a contributing author to 101 Ways to Compete in today’s Job Market. Cobb-Dennard has built small businesses from $800-$30,000 in monthly sales entirely through networking, and was recognized as the Rainmakers Rookie of the Year, and a Top 50 Business Connector.
Jamar is also a fan of personal challenges and community leadership. He has walked on Fire with Tony Robbins, was part of breaking a Guinness World Record, and crossed the North American continent by bicycle. He led the Little Red Door Cancer Agency to host America’s largest Zumba class, and was instrumental in shutting down dangerous, ‘Club Industry’, in downtown Indianapolis. Cobb-Dennard is a Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series graduate, was named an Emerging Leader by 100 Black Men, and is an Indianapolis Business Journal Forty-Under-40 award recipient. Jamar is a graduate of Western Michigan University, currently lives in Downtown Indianapolis with his toddler, and attends Turning Point Church.
