However, the colossal errors that have been made throughout history often light the way to amazing victories. Failure is the secret to success. In this speech, presented by AccelaWork principal Robby Slaughter, learn how failure can build success in leadership and volunteerism in often surprising and exciting ways. This program is part of the fourth annual Leadership & Volunteerism Summit, presented by the Central Indiana Corporate Volunteer Council (CICVC) and Leadership Ignited. The event takes place Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the Barnes & Thornburg auditorium, 11 South Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204. The summit will conclude with lunch and the presentation of the 2013 Leadership & Volunteerism Awards. . Who should attend?
  • Any company that has an Employee Volunteer Program or who integrates employees’ service in their work culture.
  • Any nonprofit organization who would like to create and/or expand partnerships with for-profit companies.
  • Individuals that are graduates of Leadership United. Leadership United is United Way of Central Indiana’s comprehensive 9 month community leadership and board development program.
  • Individuals that are interested in developing leadership skills through volunteerism or that are interested in connecting to community needs.
